ABOUT ME

My name is Sandra Göke. I am a migration lawyer and criminal defense attorney.

I completed my undergraduate studies in law at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen. For the main course, I switched to the Eberhard-Karls-University in Tübingen and passed the 1st state examination there.

The reason for studying was the desire to work as a criminal defense attorney later. Accordingly, I took advanced courses at the university early on, which, in addition to the "compulsory material", dealt with the everyday practice of criminal defense and criminology. As a major, I chose "Administration of justice in criminal matters". I did the internships during my studies with two defense lawyers in Böblingen and the Stuttgart public prosecutor's office.

While still studying, I published my book entitled "Youth Violence in Germany: Scope - Appearances - Explanatory Approaches", in which I dealt with the topic of juvenile delinquency.

Following my studies, I completed my legal clerkship in the higher regional court district of Stuttgart with the regional court of Stuttgart as my main office. During this time I was trained by the public prosecutor's office, a criminal judge at the local court and a criminal defense lawyer in Stuttgart.

After the second state examination, after having come into contact with the subject of refugees through voluntary work, I initially worked as a refugee commissioner for the city of Crailsheim, where I already began to specialize in migration law. In 2018 I was admitted to the bar and worked as a lawyer in a law firm in Heilbronn. There my main focus was on migration law and criminal law.

Since September 2020 I have been working independently in my own law firm in Crailsheim and continue to focus mainly on criminal defense and migration law.
